Find any file in Google Drive without opening Drive first: type "drive" and your search term.

How to do it

1. Press ⌘ Shift K (Ctrl Shift K on Windows).
2. Type "drive" followed by what you are looking for, e.g. "drive invoice".
3. Press Enter.

Also works from the address bar: type “g”, a space, then “drive”.
